Here's Rufus
This towel dog made from one bath and one hand towel, "Fido" is quite well house trained and will give your guests a warm and fuzzy welcome. Cruise lines and B&B Motels use these to make their guest's stay memorable.
Lay the bath towel flat. Roll the ends to the center. Bend front legs to rest between hind legs. Bend one roll to lay over the other as shown. Set aside.
Lay hand towel flat. Fold it in half. Fold the 'open' end toward the 'fold' end approximately 2/3rds or 3/4ths of the way, leaving 2 inches uncovered. Tuck under.
End view Tuck the folded edge under.
Lift corner toward center to form "ears". Hold the corner, pull it up and toward the center. Ears before rolling. Repeat for opposite end.
Roll it to the middle.
Back side, rolling completed. Roll ends to middle. Pull front flaps forward and down. Pull the front flaps down.
Tuck flaps under to make a forehead. Right flap tucked under, left flap still waiting to be tucked in, forming the "forehead".
Completed Towel Dog Place "head" on "body" and display proudly!
Tips:
Use an extra plush towel for the dog's body; thinner towels don't work as well.
