Diaper and Essential Baby Shower Decorations

Balloons and streamers make wonderful decorations. They are also easy to find at a variety of stores. But to keep with the theme of baby essentials, you should try to incorporate some actual baby items into the decorations. Actual baby items and be presented to the mom as an extra gift and can be used after the shower.

A few baby item decorating ideas include using baby washcloths to make washcloths bouquets by rolling up washcloths and securing with ribbon in your color scheme, baby bottles filled with candy and tied with a bow, baby bottles as balloon holders, pacifiers, and diaper cakes. Also don’t forget to sprinkle the tabletops with baby item shaped confetti.

Cute Baby Shower Games

Any of your favorite shower games can work with the diaper and essentials theme.

One of my favorite games is a variation of baby shower bingo. The bingo game is played while the mommy to be is unwrapping her gifts. You should be sure to pass out the bingo cards before mommy opens gifts, so guests can fill their bingo cards with the gifts they think that mommy will receive during the shower. As the mommy to be opens gifts, guests should cross off items on their bingo cards. The game is won with a guest has a bingo.
