Coolest Personalized My First Boy Diaper Cake

Diaper cakes have transformed in a BIG WAY!! TOO MUCH is not alwaysa good thing. When i arrange a diaper cake I WANT THE DIAPERS to be the center of attention. My cakes are always one surprise after another.

This cake was made for a great grand neighbor and filled to the tiers with goodies ALL BABY BASICS 1 jumbo newborn diapers (with blue) ... 1 crib sheet ... 1 recieving blanket .... 1 sleeper ... 3 onesie .... 1 towel jacket ... half dozen cloth diapers (burp cloths) OUTSIDE DECORATIONS 3mm satin ribbon ... gund MY FIRST puppy ... gund MY FIRST TEDDY holding flag pole with banner ALEXANDER SKYLER .... gund miniature caterpillar rattle ... gund bear pacifier holder ... one bottle ... 4 pks of trial bath and lotions ...

I always roll my diapers I think it gives a more cake like look to my creations! I love making these cakes they can be customized in many ways! OUTSIDE AND INSIDE .... NO HOT GLUE everything can be used in this cake recipe THE CAKE is held together with 3mm satin ribbon THE WIDER RIBBON is much easier to work with I just prefer as much diaper showing as possible.

I use a LARGE rubber band to help me hold diapers in place while building to the size i desire. I never see any square diaper cakes but they can be just as fun and much more economical. Use a diaper with blue tops roll them individually arrange in a sheet cake form the rolled diapers give you a water look add duckies made of washclothes rolled folded and tied off with pipe cleaners.
