Here is the baby shower diaper cake designed by Gail Hume from Raytown:
She just finished making one gorgeous wishing well diaper for a little gilrs baby shower…. This unique design calls for diapers, baby bottles, burp cloth, blankets & other secret crafting items. When finished, the wishing well measures approximately 22" tall X 13" wide and has plenty of room to place small gifts inside of it!
This wishing well has many uses! Use as a centerpiece, shower gift, or even take one to the hospital… Everyone will love it!
Fairy Diaper Cake
The fairy baby shower diaper cake designed by Carla from Glendale, AZ:
Carla told me, "My daughter and her husband have been together for 6 years. When they got pregnant, they started telling everyone. I was so happy and excited for them. I started to buy things right away. Little girl things. They didn't know what they were having yet. My daughter said what if its a boy? Well then she could exchange everything. It was a girl and 5 months had gone by from the first item I bought to her baby shower. I had got so much she said I had to stop or there would be no reason for a baby shower."
"So I started to put it all together and realized I had so many things how could I just give them diaper cakes as gifts. I came up with a perfect idea. It was so much fun I had to make it 8 tiers with more then 200 diapers and the other one was just clothes was 4 tiers. I'm glad I gave it to her in a special way. It took me a month to choose the topper its a fairy. My granddaughters name is Tatiana (fairy queen). It was perfect."
Rubber Duckie Diaper Cake
Here is how Tammy Lively (Herrin, IL) designed her Rubber Duckie baby shower diaper cake:
She send me an email as below...
"I am throwing a shower for my first grandchild next month and made my first diaper cake. It is a rubber duckie themed cake with the baby's name on it (Natalie Marie).
I found the picture of a baby in a bathtub on the net and used my hallmark program to personalize it with her name & year of birth. I also printed out other pictures & cut them out to use for decoration. I made little signs like quack quack & rubber duckies and added it to it as well.
This is a 3 tier diaper cake containing 56 size 1 name brand diapers, 3 receiving blankets,1-8oz & 1-4oz baby bottle(in the center) baby shampoo, lotion etc...hidden inside the cake.1 each, pink & yellow pacifiers, 4 rubber duckies, 2 onesies, 2 washclothes, tule, different colored ribbons & lots of curling ribbon.
The mother to be LOVES it.
For the background I had the idea of blowing up one big balloon with 5 or 6 pink & yellow smaller balloons inside with a larger rubber duckie to the side with another onesie neatly folded up inside.
I had already placed the cake in a sealed plastic bag to keep it clean & odor free until the shower."
